To paraphrase Mark Twain,
“The report of the real estate market’s death has been grossly exaggerated.”
If you even pay slight attention to the news, you undoubtedly have seen headlines about the changes in interest rates and their effects on the real estate market.
Depending on the messenger, the stories range from “The Sky Is Falling” to “Probably Not A Huge Deal.”
While we can’t speak to the market as a whole, The Ron & Don Nation has been doing quite well in these changing times.
I think the one of the biggest reasons is our willingness to be nimble and adjust our strategies to meet the market where it’s at. There is not a “one size fits all” approach to buying or selling a home. When market conditions change, you have to be willing to change your approach and expectations.
Here are some of our recent stories:
Congrats to Tony!
Tony was looking for a place closer to his family with room for his pup. We were able to close this house almost $40,000 under list price. Tony was also able to preserve protections that were routinely waived even a few months ago.
Congrats to Jana!
Jana is a first time home buyer. We’ve been looking for quite a while and she was getting discouraged at how the market was putting undue pressure on people like herself. When the market started changing, Jana saw it as an opportunity. We were able to get this home under contract below list price and keep our inspection contingency. Jana will be moving in next week.
Congrats to Darla!
We helped Darla sell her home on the Eastside earlier this year. She had been looking to downsize, and we found the perfect condo for her. It’s under contract below list price, and we’ve already inspected it.
And Even More of Our Stories…
On the seller side, we’ve also been seeing great results. It’s important to have your home looking its best when you bring it to market. We are not seeing homes with a lot of deferred maintenance getting into bidding wars right now.
Congrats to Kathie!
Kathie did the hard work on her place, and was rewarded for it. We got a full price offer with an inspection waiver in a little over a week on the market.
Congrats to Robert and Janeill!
After putting in a lot of hustle to make some upgrades before listing, we were rewarded with 6 offers on our offer review date. The winning offer escalating above our list price and waived the inspection contingency as well.
Congrats to Sandy!
After spending quite a few years in the Green Lake neighborhood, Sandy decided it was time for a new chapter in her journey. We got several of the Ron & Don crews in there to make this home sparkle. We had a full price offer in only 5 days on the market.
There really is a Ron & Don Difference. It doesn’t matter if you are a buyer, seller, or investor – we have proven strategies that work in this current market.
